New Balance Done Your Way

Filed under: Uncategorized — brick @ 7:00 pm

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love travel, photography, and sneakers and I try and intermingle all three when possible.

I have been rather annoyed at the recent practices of Nike with their degrading quality and lackluster materials. This ultimately drove me to New Balance. Now, NB certainly has their fair share of quality and shape issues with their newer retro models, but there are a few standouts out of the NB line that they nailed, the 574 being one of them. The 574 is hand crafted in the USA with top notch materials and workmanship. You can go and order a pair here.

My first two pair of customized New Balance 574s.

My family and I are approaching a huge milestone in life. My company is moving us from our home base in Atlanta to spend 12+ months in Singapore, starting this summer. We are both excited by the possibilities and a bit worried about the logistics and everything that comes with relocating to the other side of the world…with a 4 month old. Needless to say, we have lots of change coming but change is good and it keeps things fresh.

To commemorate our move to Singapore, I had ATL and SIN (the airport codes for Atlanta and Singapore) stitched onto the heel.

With these strapped to my feet, I can take on anything the world throws at us! Remember, keep smiling.
