Everything Looks Small From Up Here

Recently, I have taken on some additional responsibilities at work that require me to be there at all different hours of the day, depending on the week. That is why I have been M.I.A. on the whole blogging thing. It was a pretty good weekend of sleep catch-up and relaxation. I have been going back through a great deal of the pictures we have taken on trips prior to the new camera and the blog. These caught my eye.

Here are some views from atop the Empire State Building in NYC. It was a grueling experience to get up to the top. I never realized that they usher you from floor to floor to wait in more lines and longer lines each ascension you make. Each time I got to an elevator, I truly thought, “this was it”. But it was well worth it. It was a bitter cold day in December, just before Christmas, but the sky was so blue and the sun was shining. Truly spectacular. All photos taken with my point and shoot.
